Via Digital Spy The BBC’s digital radio station 1Xtra will reportedly drop its “Love Black Music, Love 1Xtra” slogan as part of a rebranding exercise to bring it closer to parent network Radio 1. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. It doesn’t get anymore ridiculous then this! Grime star Lethal B rants about “super group” N-Dubz stealing a song from him (I think) and then shows off his house MTV Cribs style. The house apparently cost £750k. The Evening Standard reports that Madonna is to take her adopted Malawian children David and Mercy, to meet their biological families. A source said the children “can proudly show off their dance skills and meet their relatives”. ………………………………………… I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the source’s alleged quote. I bet their families can’t wait to see those Vogue moves. Anyway I would love to be a fly on the wall during those meetings.

Last week the official poster for the up and coming Noel Clarke film 4.3.2.1 debuted online, which I later featured on Mad News. I also asked Noel a question regarding the poster which surprisingly didn’t seem to go down too well. Via BBC News Brit award winner Dizzee Rascal has signed a deal for his autobiography which promises to “lift the lid” on his troubled background. The 24-year-old Londoner will co-write The Dizzee Rascal Story with music journalist Ben Thompson. The deal is a joint venture between Canongate Books and the publishing arm of the rapper’s independent record label Dirtee Stank Recordings.
