The ‘God MC’ Rakim will finally release his long-awaited new album Seventh Seal on the 23rd November. Guest artists featured on the album include Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Maino, Styles P, and Rakim’s daughter Destiny Griffin.  I listened to the album last night and Rakim is still a master lyricist.  In my humble opinion that will NEVER change.  When I hear him rap it takes me back to a time when only the skilled and talented ruled the world of Hip Hop. I just watched the trailer for the up and coming film ‘Street Dance (3D)’ and it looks like it’s trying to be the UK’s answer to US dance films made over the past 5/6 years e.g. ‘Step Up’. Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity team up with dance group rivals Flawless and 2008 Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson. Baby By Me is taken from Fiddy’s forthcoming coming album Before I Self Destruct. The video features Kelly Rowland as his love interest and there is some good sexual chemistry there. The track sounds OK but I prefer the video. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

80S RAPPER ROXANNE SHANTE FINALLY ADMITS SHE LIED ABOUT HAVING A PHD AND NOW SAYS SHE’S FIGHTING CANCER

Earlier this year it was revealed that 80s Hip Hop star Roxanne Shante (real name Lolita Shante Shante Gooden) had been lying for years about receiving a Ph.D in Psycology from Cornell University. Shante also claimed that she forced Warner Music to pay for her education.  Now the rapper admits to lying and on top of that now claims to be fighting breast cancer.
