Earlier this year it was revealed that 80s Hip Hop star Roxanne Shante (real name Lolita Shante Shante Gooden) had been lying for years about receiving a Ph.D in Psycology from Cornell University. Shante also claimed that she forced Warner Music to pay for her education.
Now the rapper admits to lying and on top of that now claims to be fighting breast cancer.

Now if Shante is fighting cancer then I hope she pulls through. But I have a niggling feeling that this woman is a pathological liar who came up with this story to distract us from focusing on the whole PH.D debacle.

she’s lying. when you look up the symptoms of breast cancer, weight loss isn’t mentioned. also the TECH doesn’t feel the lump, the DOCTOR does. and if the “technician” did think that the lump was “huge” they wouldn’t say that until the mammogram actually said that there was a problem. this chick is lying again.
Keisha, Roxanne never said that her weight loss was a symptom of breast cancer.As far as the TECH goes, she had already discovered the lump.That’s what made her see the doctor in the first place. Furthermore you don’t know what her relationship is with her tech or doctor. She did’nt need the tech to tell her what she knew already. We as people are so quick to bash people when none of us really know the deal.
Keisha is right. no one tells the patient anything about results except a full-fledged doctor. it just isn’t done. i wish people wouldn’t lie about breast cancer and other serious conditions. people need all the help they can get; they don’t need the populace to suspect their credibility because of liars like her.
