Nike released the pretty impressive Write The Future commercial, promoting the World Cup just before it kicked off in South Africa on June 11th. Now people are calling the commercial the ‘curse of Nike’,’ because most of the players featured along with their team mates didn’t perform well (particularly England (waste men) and France) and have now all been knocked out of the tournament. Tennis champion Roger Federer also appears in the commercial and he was spectacularly knocked out of the Wimbledon […]

Weeks before the World Cup kicked off in South Africa, a visitor to the site accused me of being negative when I said that the England team didn’t stand a chance of winning the tournament. Well guess what folks – IT’S A WRAP! Germany destroyed England’s “chances” of going home with the World Cup today in a highly controversial match. Germany went on to easily win 4-1 after an encounter in which a wrongly disallowed goal had prevented England completing a comeback […]

The Daily Mirror reports that rapper Tinchy Stryder has flown out to South Africa to cheer the England team up after Saturday’s lacklustre performance against the USA. The British mainstream media will never change. This is a disgrace. South Africa will host the 2010 football World Cup, and the “delightful” News Of The World has decided to take it upon themselves to “warn” English fans about the host nation. I’m not sure if the writer of this article ( Sophy Ridge) knows this but there are people living with AIDS/HIV all over the world. And credit card fraud and scams also take place all over the world not just in Africa! […]

Victoria Beckham Via The Daily Mirror England’s Wags yesterday demanded the immediate lifting of their ban from next year’s World Cup – claiming they are vital to success on the pitch. Coach Fabio Capello has said Cheryl Cole, Victoria Beckham, Alex Curran and the other wives and girlfriends can only see their men one day a week in South Africa. But the Wags claim the team is likely to struggle without them and say many of the players feel the same. TV […]
