X-FACTOR FINALISTS JOHN AND EDWARD SIGN RECORD DEAL WITH SONY MUSIC

There aren’t enough words……. Via BBC News X Factor finalists John and Edward Grimes – otherwise known as Jedward – have signed a record deal with Sony Music, it has been announced. Rapper star Vanilla Ice, who originally released Ice Ice Baby in 1990, will also feature on the track. Vanilla Ice also performed live with John and Edward at last night’s National TV Awards. When I saw Vanilla on stage with them I went in to shock! Oh dear…. ha ha ha.

UK TV: EASTENDERS PRODUCERS DECIDE TO NOT FEATURE E20 CAST MEMBER ON MAIN SHOW

   Eastenders online spin off Eastenders: E20 is currently being screened online throughout January, and the only cast member who hasn’t made the transition from the online spinoff to the main BBC 1 soap is surprise surprise, actress  Bunmi Mojekwu. UK TV: JONATHAN ROSS TO LEAVE THE BBC AFTER 13 YEARS

Via BBC News Jonathan Ross has announced he is leaving the BBC, after 13 years working for the corporation. Ross, 49, who is one of the BBC’s highest paid stars, said in a statement he had decided not to renegotiate his contract when it ends in July. UK TV: ‘DUMBED DOWN’ GMTV FACES AXE DUE TO POOR RATINGS

Via Mail Online ITV could axe GMTV over its poor ratings after it today became the sole owner of the breakfast TV franchise. The Coronation Street broadcaster already owns 75 per cent of the early morning TV show but has now bought the remaining stake from Disney for more than £22million.
