Jonathan Ross has announced he is leaving the BBC, after 13 years working for the corporation.

Ross, 49, who is one of the BBC’s highest paid stars, said in a statement he had decided not to renegotiate his contract when it ends in July.

The star added that his decision to leave was not “financially motivated”. Continue Reading….

I saw this announcement coming a mile off!

I have been a Jonathan Ross fan for YEARS! But after the Andrew Sachs debacle, and the public backlash I knew that Ross was on his way out.

Jonathan’s talk show lost it’s sparkle when he returned to our screens after his three month suspension. He just looked and sounded nervous most of the time, and you could tell that BBC executives were monitoring his antics closely each week.

And to make matters worse his show’s ratings nose-dived.

Oh dear….upsetting old man Sach’s definitely helped to seal Jonathan’s fate.

I am willing to bet that he was actually fired.

  1. He always looked timid and asking 4 the ground 2 swallow him when he returned. Oh well, atleast thatcher’s still got her job.

  2. Will miss him. That’s the radio show/films and chat show gone!! He was never as good when he came back after being muzzled. Hopefully he will get back to his cheeky ways on some other channel. The beeb will not be the same without him.
