UK NEWS: WESTFIELD STABBING VICTIM NAMED / NINE MEN CHARGED OVER DEATH

Via BBC News A man who was stabbed to death at a shopping centre yards from the Olympic Park has been named by police. Liam Woodards, 24, was knifed during a fight at Westfield in Stratford, east London, on Friday afternoon. Police were questioning five men aged 20 to 23 over the death but have since released one, aged 23, with a caution for affray and no further action. LAURYN HILL PLEADS GUILTY TO TAX EVASION, FACES 3 YEAR PRISON TERM

Singer Lauryn Hill admitted in court today that she failed to file three years of taxes on income of $1.8 million. The star now faces a 3 year prison term and $75,000 in fines and will be sentenced in late November. Via BBC News An Ethiopian teenager who was part of the Olympic torch relay has gone missing from a hotel in Nottingham. Natnael Yemane, 15, was a torchbearer as part of an official international programme team as the relay entered the city on Thursday. Police said he left the Jurys Inn, Waterfront Plaza, at about 21:15 BST and did not return.
