East Londoner Phillips Idowu has crashed out of the men’s triple jump final after failing to qualify. On the run up to the event it sounded as if Idowu had disappeared off the face of the earth. … Enough Said is taken from Aaliyah’s posthumous album and for some reason the Aaliyah estate has given Drake the greenlight to produce the album. I like hearing Aaliyah’s vocals on the single but when Drake jumps in I just think ‘WHY???’ Sometimes it is best to just leave things alone. Rest In Peace Aaliyah.

Usain Bolt proved the doubters wrong last night when he won the 100 metres final and retained his title. The man is a machine. Jamaica’s Yohan Blake took home the silver while America’s Justin Gatlin took home the Bronze. Congratulations Usain Bolt and Happy 50th Independence Day Jamaica.
