Gary Dobson, one of the men convicted of the racist murder of Stephen Lawrence, has lodged an appeal against his conviction.
Dobson, 36, was sentenced to 15 years and two months after being found guilty of murdering the 18-year-old in April 1993.
But he maintains his innocence and is said to be appealing on the grounds that a video, showing racist remarks he made to friends more than a year after the murder, was played to the jury during December’s trial.
David Norris, 35, who was sentenced to 14 years and three months, is also expected to appeal against his conviction on the same grounds although his appeal is yet to be lodged with the court.
Any appeal hearing would not take place until later this year, most likely in the summer.
And so the nightmare continues. I knew this happen.
Rest In Peace Stephen Lawrence.

it was a matter of time Janice that they would appeal. I think the justice system should lose their appeal in the system!
Not surprised at all….
