UK RAPPER PROFESSOR GREEN STABBED IN THE NECK

UK Rapper Professor Green was savagely attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 23rd). During an altercation in a night club the East London born rapper was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle. Green is currently in hospital recovering from his injuries. Last night he posted the following on his Twitter page…  Surgery took an hour longer than it was meant to. The stabbing brushed on all major arteries but damaged none. Very lucky to be alive. Very.

LEONA LEWIS PAID £1 MILLION TO PERFORM AT BIRTHDAY PARTY

According to The Sun newspaper, singer Leona Lewis has been paid £1 million to perform at a 21st birthday party. Lewis apparently sang seven songs at the event thrown for Libby Caudwell, daughter of Phones4U founder John Caudwell. UK MUSIC NEWS: X FACTOR WINNER ALEXANDRA BURKE TOPS THE CHRISTMAS SINGLES CHART

No surprises here….. Via BBC News Newly-crowned X Factor queen Alexandra Burke has topped the Christmas singles chart with Hallelujah. Burke won the battle for Christmas number one ahead of the late Jeff Buckley, whose version of the same song was in second place. It is 51 years since the same song sat at numbers one and two, and the first time ever at Christmas. Burke’s Hallelujah became the fastest-selling single by a female solo artist, with 576,000 copies sold. Congratulations Alexandra. []
