Shaun Carter aka Jay-Z is a former waste man from Marcy projects, Brooklyn NY who got lucky due to sudden tragic events in Hip Hop that shook the genre to it’s core, above average lyrical ability, top class producers and a strong team behind him. He is not The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Rapper/mogul Jay-Z has teamed up with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith to co-produce a new movie based on the musical Annie, starring Will and Jada’s daughter Willow in the lead role. This is fantastic news! I’m all a quiver with excitement.

It seems the world has gone ‘bananas’ over Jay-Z’s recently released book Decoded, including the folk over at the New York Public Library. Via Yahoo News Raids targeting a wholesale marijuana ring based in New York and Florida resulted in the arrests of 45 people, including one of the founders of the Roc-A-Fella record label, prosecutors said Friday.
