Kanye West’s Power remix featuring Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz dropped online today folks! Jay and Kanye sound okay but I don’t know what Swizz Beatz thought he was doing towards the end. Sampling the 1992 Snap hit I Got The Power was far from a good idea Swizz. It just sounds out of place and spoils the remix. I’m surprised Kanye agreed to keep Swizz’s lame contribution in. The video also features actor/ part-time “Reggae/Dancehall artist” Idris Elba (lol). The track – Same old Giggs but I like the beat. Hard Way is the first video taken from Stylah’s forthcoming album ‘Treading Water‘ produced by Show N Prove! Why do Hip Hop producers in the country still insist on speeding up singing vocals on tracks? The year is 2010 not 2004! I wondered what was going on with this much hyped remix. Anyway UK artist Skepta’s Grime remix of Diddy’s/Dirty Money’s Hello Good Morning track premiered last night, and people are already behaving as if it’s the best thing since sliced bread.
