Check out the full movie trailer for the Notorious BIG biopic, which will be released early next year. I have to admit….this now looks as if it could actually be a pretty good movie…… Angela Bassett plays Biggie’s mother Violetta Wallace. Now I respect Angela but did she/the creators deliberately forget that Violetta has a Jamaican accent?

Several weeks ago I posted a selection of music videos featuring 80s black British acts, but forgot to include these guys…. Imagination were brilliant lol. They were theatrical and oh so camp! Loved them! ‘Body Talk’ (Circa 1981) ‘Just An Illusion’ (Circa 1982) I wonder where they are now?

These women need HELP and I think they are aware they have issues…. SERIOUS issues….. At the start I was hurling abuse at these women, but now I just feel sad for them. It’s people within our own community who have made them feel this way about themselves. Family members and so-called friends with their off the cuff remarks always making reference to their darker skin complexions, who have made them go to such extreme lengths to achieve lighter skin.
