The bigwigs over at BBC 1xtra have decided to clean house in 2011 (fired DJs) and have implemented some changes (reshuffled DJs time slots). Fellow blogger Miss Lala reports that Twin B will take over the breakfast show slot, a slot which was previously held by DJ Trevor Nelson. Trevor will move to the 10am-1pm slot and Gemma Cairney will take over on weekday afternoons. Nick Bright (7am-10am) with the weekend breakfast show. Charlie Sloth will present on Saturdays (10am-1pm) CJ Beats, on Sunday (10am-1pm) Sarah Jane Crawford, weekend afternoons (1pm-4pm) DJs who […]

Click HERE to download mixtape and check out the single I Love You below. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
Talented up and coming rapper J The Exodus (real name Jason Hayles) is one-third of the rap collective Midas Touch alongside fellow group members AKS and Phoenix Da Icefire both of whom have enjoyed relative success with their own solo projects earlier this year. J has now branched out on his own and released the new mixtape 360: Full Circle (Free to download), which features fourteen diverse yet distinctive tracks. 360 – Full Circle” (Tracklist & Credits) 01a. Rapper Rick Ross kicked off his B.M.F Tour last night at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, and judging by the footage below the audience was loving the big man. I hate to admit this but I love B.M.F. I wish I had been there when Ricky and the audience performed the track together last night. Via @ Hip Hop Chronicle UK
The “greatest female rapper alive” (that’s what they want us to believe right?) appeared on The Wendy Williams Show yesterday and performed her new single Right Thru Me. What a load of rubbish! And look at Wendy sitting in the audience pretending to know the words. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Embarrassing. I’ve said this before and I will say it again, Nicki is probably a really nice woman but her music is appalling! All the artists and industry folk who constantly harp on about how good she […]
Lethal B’s new track Pow 2011 premiered on Tim Westwood’s show this evening. The “revamp” of the 2004 hit this time features Wiley, Kano, Ghettz, JME and Chipmunk. In my opinion Pow 2004 was a lot better. Lethal should have left it alone. The 2011 version is just unnecessary. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
People have been raving about this lady and her official debut track/video (Do It Like A Dude) all day, so I decided to finally check out new artist Jessie J. The track – When I first watched the video I just thought of Rihanna and Lady Saw. In my opinion Do It Like A Dude isn’t particularly outstanding, it just sounds like your average UK “urban” fare. But it will probably go on to become Jessie’s first UK number 1 single, and […]
Well it’s finally here folks – The Diddy, Dirty Money, Skepta video. When the remix track hit the Internet earlier this year (featuring the UK’s Skepta), feelings were ‘hurt’ this side of the Atlantic because US websites (namely Worldstar)/blogs failed to acknowledge it. But we now have a video to support the track so it may peak their interest this time. By the way I like this remix. I have to applaud Skepta he did a good job. The video – Hahahahahahahaha and hahahahahahahaha at Chipmunk. Your thoughts […]
