Via Digital Spy Sri Lankans outraged by Akon’s ‘desecration’ of a statue of the Buddah have protested against his upcoming concert in Colombo. The R&B singer has come under fire from locals who have taken offence to his video for ‘Sexy Chick’, which features groups of near-naked women dancing at a pool party in front a Buddah statue. Singer Akon has created his own scent called Konvict, and the bottle is “imaginatively” shaped like a handcuff. Via Luxist and Rhymes With Snitch Konvict Femme combines notes of lemon and mandarin with vanilla and almond musk. Konvict Homme has fresh notes of bergamot and lemon with an earthy base of sandalwood and cedar.
