U2, JAY-Z AND SWIZZ BEATZ RECORD SONG FOR HAITI

I just love it when major artists from different genres come together and produce a song within a matter of minutes to raise money for charity… Via BBC News U2, Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz have recorded a song together to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake. RAPPER MYSTIKAL RELEASED FROM PRISON

Rapper and convicted sex offender Mystikal has been released from prison after serving a six year sentence. In 2004, the rapper was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to forcing his hairstylist to perform sex acts (which included oral sex and sodomy). He also admitted to extortion. The rapper and two bodyguards forced the woman to perform various sexual acts, and accused her of stealing $80,000 in cheques. SINGER TEDDY PENDERGRASS DIES

Legendary R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass has died. The singer’s son, Teddy Pendergrass II, said his father died at a hospital in suburban Philadelphia. Pendergrass underwent colon cancer surgery eight months ago and had “a difficult recovery,” his son added. Rest In Peace Teddy Pendergrass.
