… This is why I grow to despise the UK music industry more and more as each day passes. Artists like Cherri Voncelle and Vula Malinga  to name but a few are talented, they can SING their backsides off and make good music, but industry executives in this country still continue to sign and push female singers to the forefront whose vocals/talent pale in comparison (An unfair decision usually based on race and on who they consider “marketable”). Last night concerned residents stood outside Brixton Police Station and voiced concerns over the arrest of a mentally ill man in his fifties. The Brixton Blog reports that residents claim the police used “unacceptable” force while arresting a man in Windrush Square. UK FILM: KIDULTHOOD STAR FEMI OYENIRAN’S FIRST SCRIPT ‘IT’S A LOT’ TO BE MADE IN TO A FEATURE FILM

Actor and star of hit feature films Kidulthood and Adulthood Femi Oyeniran has announced that his first script will be made in to a film. The urban comedy ‘It’s A Lot’ written by Oyeniran and Nick Walker ‘marries 1980’s classics Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with Risky Business’  and will be  Mirror Image Ltd Film Production’s first feature production. The shoot is scheduled to start in late September. Congratulations!
