Tabloid rag The Sun reports that singer Alexandra Burke and footballer Jermain Defoe are now a couple.
Last night staff spotted the couple at the Landmark Hotel in North London, stepping out hand-in-hand as they went on one of their first public dates.
Jermain, 29, had tweeted earlier: “On route to @ozboateng to collect my suit for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund Gala Dinner this eve.”

I don’t believe this story because for one black British footballers like Jermain Defoe don’t date black women. Like I’ve said in the past that would be seen as social suicide (lol). They would rather jump in to a large vat of acid first then be seen out in public with a black woman hanging off their arm. The only black women that these men give the time of day to is the women in their families.
Also as far as I am concerned this is just a story designed to generate publicity for Alexandra’s ailing music career. She is about to release a new single and a new album and needs all the attention she can get at the moment.
And LOL at Jermain going to a Nelson Mandela children’s Fund Gala dinner in his expensive Boateng suit. Was he forced to attend that event?
I believe that somebody’s publicist (Alexandra’s) wrote this ridiculous story and sent it over to The Sun to be published.
I’m not buying any of this.

It’s funny I got into a convo with a white girl from France who used to live in England a few days ago and in France she’d dated a few black guys but they were proud to be black and she was saying she couldn’t believe it when she came to the UK how many black guys were with white women, she was like are the guys over there confused or something. @lechatnoir na she’s enaged to one of my friends so she weren’t looking for a boyfriend when she came to England, but she said she had alot of black guys trying to date her but she said even if she was single she wouldn’t because said she doesn’t like guys who are confused she was like the black girls in the UK are gorgeous and the black guys are chasing average white girls I don’t understand. Man i must say when i read that statement about high profile Black guys dating only whites… i just SMH. You guys have been saying that since i stated on MADD News…and it appears to be true…… It happens over here in the states as well.. But not nearly as much as it does over in the UK. It’s really shameful when you think about it.. Where is the Black love? Where is the proud Black family in the media over there? And for them to be chasing average white girls makes no sense! The only black UK footballer I can think of with a black woman is Emile Heskey there’s a few mixed raced players like Aaron Lennon and Kieran Richardson with mixed raced girls but that’s about it, it’s sad really sad.
