Tabloid rag The Sun reports that singer Alexandra Burke and footballer Jermain Defoe are now a couple. Last night staff spotted the couple at the Landmark Hotel in North London, stepping out hand-in-hand as they went on one of their first public dates. Jermain, 29, had tweeted earlier: “On route to @ozboateng to collect my suit for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund Gala Dinner this eve.” A Spurs source said the star was “buzzing” about his new relationship with Alexandra.
