Well folks here we are again! It’s MOBO awards time! Yey!!!!!!!!
For those who don’t know about the MOBO Awards, it’s the UK’s answer to the BET Awards…..well… sort of….
As always I look forward to seeing which acts have been included in the now controversial Reggae category. Will the organisers go for the “safe” options and nominate Shaggy and Sean Paul this year, like they do EVERY YEAR!!!

And don’t even get me started on the foolishness that took last year when they nominated soul singer ANTHONY HAMILTON for a reggae award!
Anyway check out the lastest news on the 2008 MOBO Awards, which will take place on October 15th.
Rapper Dizzee Rascal is amongst the contenders for a Mobo Award in the best UK male category for the second year running.
The other artists shortlisted are Jay Sean, Sway, Taio Cruz and Wiley.
In the female category Adele, Duffy, Estelle, Leona Lewis and M.I.A have all been nominated.
The Mobo Awards highlight the influence of urban music and the winners are announced at London’s Wembley Arena on 15 October (Source BBC News)

Will the lifetime achiever be the us artists who conveniently happens to be in the country on the date of event? Do we care any more? When will Kanya King get a refresher on black music?
