For those who care…. it’s Mercury Prize time again folks! Singer Corrine Bailey Rae and Dizzie Rascal have both received Mercury Prize nominations, alongside “Modfather’ Paul Weller (he seems so up himself) and Biffy Cyflo (who?). Last year Speech Debelle took home the Mercury Prize and then promptly disappeared after THIS embarrassing incident. *Note: A Mercury win is supposed to boost sales and the artist’s profile. But that didn’t happen in Speech’s case. * Then she later quit her label blaming them for her poor album sales. According to Digital Spy, to date her winning […]
N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos’ has had her £550,000 home burgled days after it featured in the group’s Channel 4 documentary Being.. N-Dubz. Continue Reading….. I watched last weeks episode, and it did cross my mind that Tulisa might be asking for trouble allowing them to film the outside/inside of her new home. But then again they did not show the street name or name the location. It wouldn’t surprise me if the thieves responsible are acquaintances.

British actor Idris Elba has been out there promoting his musical endeavours for sometime now, but this is the first time I’ve actually bothered to listen to one of his tracks, and I’m now wishing I hadn’t bothered clicking on the play button. Idris should stick to what he is good at – ACTING!!! I am guessing that he surrounds himself with a bunch of sycophant ‘yes men” because Hold On is hilariously bad. And can somebody please tell me when Idris […]
[Thanks Yinka] On Monday night Channel 4 aired the first episode of N-Dubz’s new documentary Being.. N-Dubz. Rapper Lethal B who claims the group stole a track from him, was featured on the documentary arguing with group member Dappy at a ‘celebrity’ football match. Lethal, who we must remember is a GROWN MAN, has now taken it upon himself to set the record straight about the incident and gives Grime Daily “the real story”. *HUGE SIGH* Beyond juvenile. EMBARRASSING. This is just […]
Former footballer and fired TV pundit Robbie Earle has claimed that ITV bosses knew he was buying 400 World Cup tickets through them. Earle insisted that he had no idea friend Keith Higgins, would sell them on to a third party breaking FIFA rules. The Daily Mail also reports that ITV is now at the centre of a World Cup ticketing storm after it was revealed that, A top ITV executive – one of its four directors of news and sport – […]
“Talented” super group N-Dubz will soon feature in their own Channel 4 documentary, Being N-Dubz, and in the soon to be aired doc “role model” Dabby (real name Dino Contostavlos) reveals that he routinely gives the wrong information to police whenever he is stopped and searched. “Up to this day we still give the wrong name and address,” Why would you admit that on television? He is going to single-handedly destroy that group with his worthless shenanigans and reckless talk. The man is a BORN IDIOT! […]
New group Frixion have teamed up with FDM (aka Fun*dmental) on their debut single Afraid. I really like this song and it’s good to see FDM back on the scene. It’s strange this is Frixion’s debut single but FDM almost steal the show. But the groups do sound good together and I think Afraid will go on to become a hit single. Release Date: July 26th Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
UK artist Orie has just released the videos to his singles Zonin and Fly With Me. Check it out below. The intro goes on for too long and the vocals sound slightly off-key and shaky, but perhaps this was done deliberately for effect??? However this is the type of dance track that will probably get some air play in other parts of Europe. The video – I don’t really understand it, but that’s one interesting looking blond chick. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss? Your […]
This article has given me my first big laugh of the day. New York Times Magazine contributor Lynn Hirschberg has written an article about British “artist” M.I.A (real name Maya Arulpragasam), which has hilariously forced the grossly over-rated star to retaliate via her Twitter account, by childishly posting Hirschberg’s mobile number to her adoring followers. I doubt Hirschberg gives a toss Maya. Click here to read extracts from the article, and if you have time to spare the article in it’s entirety HERE. Maya you seriously need to get over herself luv. You really […]
