Rapper Nelly has blamed his label Motown Records for the poor sales of his latest album 5.0. The album has so far only sold 63,000 copies stateside. Nelly jumped on Twitter over the weekend and tweeted, A record deal is a 50/50 partnership! As an artist its your job to provide the record company with music that they can sell! Thing about the partnership is that in the public eye the responsibility is not 50/50! The artist is always the one who […]

This President Barack Obama parody has killed me tonight. I tried my hardest not to laugh, but the comedian playing the Pres and the actresses drafted in to play Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey are just too much. This is so wrong! WARNING: IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED THEN PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON PLAY. *EXTREME PROFANITY*

I wouldn’t normally dedicate a post to somebody like Yung Berg but the mother of his child is one stupid woman. Here’s why… Rapper Yung Berg whose career stalled several years ago after he made some offensive/dumb remarks about dark-skinned women, is being acknowledged again thanks to the mother of his seven-year old son. She claims the rapper has failed to support/see his son and even goes as far as dragging the little boy, who is autistic on camera and […]

Rapper Foxy Brown performed at the Jamison Ernest’s Incubator fashion show last week in New York City. I think her mentor Russell Simmons (who was in attendance) pulled some strings and that’s why the organisers allowed her to perform. There can be no other explanation. I watched the entire performance through my fingers. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

The Daily Mirror reports that rapper Tinchy Stryder has flown out to South Africa to cheer the England team up after Saturday’s lacklustre performance against the USA. A “source” disclosed, Since Saturday’s game, the lads have not been in the greatest of spirits and they all needed something to lift them up. Tinchy met some of the players briefly, which was the perfect tonic. “He dedicated his song Number 1 to Rob Green which went down a treat. It put a smile back […]

UK rapper and Peckham resident Giggs is turning in to a right little entrepreneur. Giggs has now entered into the world of fashion and has ‘created’ his own clothing line SN1 Wear. Check out the stunning photographs and video footage below… Via Ragggs.com The House of Sean John must be quaking in their boots right now. There’s nothing particularly special about the menswear. It’s okay. But the womens wear looks dated and tacky. Women were wearing those types of dresses back in the early nineties. We are now in 2010. Who […]

When I first heard Plan B sing on Tonight With Jonathan Ross I was stunned. I thought he was a rapper. Plan B, old misery guts rapper from East London, when did he become a “soul” singer??? Anyway the rapper, “singer” and actor’s latest album The Defamation Of Strickland Banks has shot straight to number 1 in the UK album chart. If your face fits and you add a bit of an old skool soul vibe in to the mix you’re always […]
