UK TV: KERRY KATONA’S SHAMBOLIC APPEARANCE ON ‘THIS MORNING’

For those of you who are not so familiar with Kerry Katona, she burst on to the UK music scene back in the late 90s as a member of the defunct pop group Atomic Kitten.   Katona now makes a living endorsing budget supermarket chain Iceland, OK Magazine pays the “star” around £500,000 a year to “write” her own column for the publication (she doesn’t write squat!!!), and she has also appeared in her own MTV (Europe) reality show, ‘Kerry Katona – []

50 CENT – THE MONEY AND THE POWER “REALITY” SHOW TRAILER

50 Cent’s new MTV “reality” show ‘The Money And The Power’ will debut in the US on November 6th. When it does eventually air in the UK I doubt that I will be tuning in on a regular basis. I’m tired of watching fake, scripted “reality” show vehicles. It’s just lazy television. But I am loving Fifty’s new pearly white teeth! I might just tune in to stare in to his mouth. Will you be tuning in?

MTV VMA 2008 LIVE BLOG

The MTV Video Music Awards 2008 took place in Los Angeles last night, and here is a live blog covering the night’s events courtesy of Rolling Stone. READ I knew that British host/comedian Russell Brand would bomb. Russell’s crude sense of humour is just way out there, and goes over most people’s heads, so I don’t understand why they chose him to host this year’s ceremony in front of a huge American audience. I don’t think I’ll bother tuning in when it airs again here []

RAPPER PLIES VISITS MTV’S TRL

Rapper Plies appeared on MTV’s TRL on Monday (June 9th) in New York. I just want to rip that chain off his neck and then beat him with it. He’s walking around wearing that ugly pendent with the word ‘Goon’ plastered on the front of it, when in actual fact it should say “COON”. Seriously folks..when will this COONERY end???? LIL WAYNE VISITS MTV’S TRL

(Sigh…) Lil Wayne is one strange, disturbed little man……  Anyway “rapper” Lil Wayne visited the TRL yesterday (June 10th). His new album ‘The Carter III’ dropped yesterday and billboards promoting the album can be seen on the walls of London Underground tube stations.  When I get off the train at Monument tube station in the mornings with all the city suits, and then see this album cover staring back at me I cringe and race for the exit.  Photographs: WireImage
