[Thanks Yinka] On Monday night Channel 4 aired the first episode of N-Dubz’s new documentary Being.. N-Dubz. Rapper Lethal B who claims the group stole a track from him, was featured on the documentary arguing with group member Dappy at a ‘celebrity’ football match. Lethal, who we must remember is a GROWN MAN, has now taken it upon himself to set the record straight about the incident and gives Grime Daily “the real story”. *HUGE SIGH* Beyond juvenile. EMBARRASSING. This is just […]

Via The Guardian New Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon is to front a “personal” documentary examining the emotional and practical implications of children who don’t know their fathers. Dixon, who has recently hit the headlines after being criticised for her performances on Strictly as the replacement for Arlene Phillips, will turn documentary maker for the BBC3 film, which will be made by production company Flame TV. The programme, to be called Who’s the Daddy?, will feature Dixon – whose parents split […]

This Light Skin vs Dark Skin vehicle is pointless and who are those idiots ‘hamming’ it up for the camera? What was the brief from the director/producer – ‘We want to cause a stir, so say some controversial s**t, because we desperately want this documentary to be a talking point within the community’. Whatever…. The light skin / dark skin ‘debate’ is BORING! MOVE ON!!!!

Singer and TV personality (she will appear on Celebrity Strictly Come Dancing as a regular judge) Alesha Dixon has announced that she plans on making a “hard hitting” documentary about absent fathers. Dixon will be fronting this documentary so it will basically shine the spotlight on young women from within the black community who are possibly unemployed, struggling to raise at least three children by the themselves somewhere deep in South London, because their ‘road man’ baby fathers just got up one day, left, and never returned. Then the spotlight will focus on the black man who will end up […]

This footage is taken from the newly released Documentary DVD ‘Choke No Joke’ . Watch Bruk Pocket chew out Def Jam staff (lol). But you know what kills me the most.. none of the staff sitting around the table tries to defend themselves….. Ok so he had a point, why were they holding a meeting about Jay-Z without informing him first? But the shouting and threatening behaviour? Oh Brukkers…… smh… lol

Interesting……… Poor old Brukkers Dash. He still hasn’t gotten over the Roc-A-Fella split. And look at former Roc-A-Fella part owner Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke [mark: 2.49]. When they were riding high on a crest of a wave he refused to speak/grant interviews. But since being shoved in to obscurity he has suddenly found his voice. I had the misfortune of meeting Kareem once. WHAT a dick head! The man behaved and walked around as if his s**t didn’t stink! Anyway, Dash is the ‘brains’ behind this documentary. But from what I hear it isn’t really about […]

‘Backstage: The Hard Knock Life Tour’ chronicled Jay-Z’s 1999 ‘Hard Knock Life’ tour, which was the highest grossing Hip Hop tour to date during that period of time. The documentary also included footage of DMX, Ja Rule, Irv Gotti, Method Man and Red Man and a behind the scenes look at what went in to organising the tour. One of my favourite scenes from the documentary involves ole Bruk Pocket (Damon Dash) and the then President of Def Jam Records Kevin Liles. Bruk Pocket rants […]

If you happen to be UK based and at home tonight then watch the documentary ‘High Society’s Favourite Gigolo’, which will take an in depth look at the meteoric rise and fall of Britain’s first black superstar, Leslie ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson. Up until this point I’d never heard of Leslie Hutchinson. Hmmmmmmm I wonder why???? Via The London Paper He was our highest-paid performer, a singer, pianist and actor whose suave good looks guaranteed invites to the top parties – not to mention the fact he was a wartime entertainer […]
