Chipmunk and Wretch 32 pretended they were Lil Wayne and Rick Ross on Monday night while hanging out at the popular Jump Off event in London. The pair decided to literally ‘shower’ young women with money (fifty pound notes) who were taking part in the booty shaking competition. [Thanks L] It does my heart good to see Wretch and Chipmunk investing their royalties wisely especially during these financially difficult times.
Several months ago UK rapper Chipmunk parted ways with major label Sony Music ( now who didn’t see that coming?) and is now ‘an ‘independent artist’. The Friday Hip Hop Report Debate Panel discuss whether they think Chipmunk is better off as an independent artist. ……. Your thoughts please….
UK rappers Chipmunk and Wretch 32 attended N-Dubz star Dappy’s party over the weekend and helped him to celebrate his first solo number 1 single at London’s Movida nightclub. A source who was in attendance disclosed that Chipmunk walked around wearing shades throughout the evening in an almost pitch dark night club. There are no words… hahahaha. To say that Chris Brown over shadows UK rapper Chipmunk on his own new single would be an UNDERSTATEMENT! I really like Champion and I think that has a lot to do with Chris. He just takes over the track to such an extent that you actually forget it’s a collaboration and he is the “featured” artist. Chris is on fire! Chipmunk… well not so much. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
