According to Gyant over at Sohh.com Nelly’s latest album ‘Brass Knuckles’ is about to bomb. A Universal source disclosed the following information.  “The estimate as of today is around 43k copies sold in the United States.” When I think about Nelly’s past astronomical first week sales, and then look at the first week sales figure above for his fourth album I feel to weep for him.  Sign of the times I guess…. Miners in Lesotho have discovered a huge gem stone which may become the largest ever polished diamond. The stone weighs 478 carats and is the 20th largest rough diamond ever found, said Gem Diamonds. The company said the uncut rock was recovered recently from the Letseng mine, owned by the company in Lesotho. The diamond, which is as yet unnamed, has the potential to yield a 150 carat cut stone, and could sell for tens of millions of dollars, the company said.  […]

‘Playa Hater’ is taken from Biggie’s sophomore album ‘Life After Death’.  When I first heard this track I could not stop laughing, and Puffy’s contribution kills me every time. I’m just sorry that Biggie didn’t live to make a video for this track, and to drop it as a single.  Reading some of the comments on YouTube it’s clear that ‘Playa Hater’ has gone over some folk’s heads (how I do not know). DJ AM and Travis Barker Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were critically injured Friday night after a Learjet crashed in South Carolina, killing four other people. Two plane crew members and two passengers were slain in the accident just before midnight following an performance. While out styling and profiling Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs failed to spot the steaming pile of dog doo doo on the pavement and stepped right in it. It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving person 🙂 I really don’t know how they both (especially his security) missed it…. LOL!!!
