Via BBC News Two of Malawi’s most senior judicial officials are arguing over whether a new bill includes a provision that outlaws breaking wind in public. Justice Minister George Chaponda says the new bill would criminalise flatulence to promote “public decency”. “Just go to the toilet when you feel like farting,” he told local radio. Several days ago it was reported that promoter/co-owner of popular London nightclub Runway Mike Neri had been kidnapped in Lagos Nigeria, along with a female companion. Now I’m hearing through the grapevine that they have now been allegedly released, but no word on who paid the 20 million Naira ransom. A source jokingly said, “Mike will probably make an appearance at Runway this week”. New animated CBeebies series Rastamouse made it’s debut on BBC 1 several days ago and so far the reviews have been quite positive. It’s definitely going to be a huge hit with the kids. Several days ago DJ Premier announced on his radio show that Hip Hop pioneer DJ Kool Herc (real name Clive Campbell) “was very sick” and needed financial assistance, but provided no other information.
