Michael Neri missing since 29 January
Several days ago it was reported that promoter/co-owner of popular London nightclub Runway Mike Neri had been kidnapped in Lagos Nigeria, along with a female companion.
Now I’m hearing through the grapevine that they have now been allegedly released, but no word on who paid the 20 million Naira ransom.
A source jokingly said, “Mike will probably make an appearance at Runway this week”.
This is a strange story that smells extremely fishy (like a bag of rotton fish), and has the words ‘publicity stunt’ written all over it. Also judging by some of the comments (via Twitter) in response to Mike’s alleged kidnapping, it doesn’t sound like he’s the most popular character on the entertainment circuit.

i must say kidnappings are extremely common back home tho……. so the likely hood that it COULD happen is strong …… the likelyhood of whether it DID happen is another thing…..!!!
There is nothing fishy about it they just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time even though kidnapping is rare in lagos this one did happen the girl is yet to be released.I pray she is reunited with her family and love ones!!!
