I keep seeing Jaya’s name popping up on Twitter, but this is the first time I’ve listened to one of her tracks. Outta Control features Young Simmons (yes oldest son of the annoying Rev Run Simmons) and UK rapper Wretch 32.  Jaya has a pleasant enough voice but the song isn’t really my cup of tea.  I can however see it getting regular spins on BBC 1xtra. Check out rapper/actor Snakeyman’s new single Making Moves, which features on the sound track for the new British movie “TERRY”. The video also features stars from the film. I like the track. It’s catchy and Snakeyman  has a decent flow. The only thing I don’t like is his name. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

OPRAH SUPRISES PARENTS OF SEXTUPLETS ON HER SHOW

Oprah saved the day once again yesterday on her show when she gave Rozonno and Mia McGhee, and their miracle sextuplets $250,000 credit at Walmart and a honeymoon in Las Vegas, even though the couple have been married for 11 years. The couple and their sextuplets  (Olivia, Madison, Rozonno Jr, Josiah, Elijah and Isaac) caught Oprah’s attention after Mia posted the picture below on Facebook which became an Internet sensation. Superstar Beyonce is featured on the cover of French magazine L’Officiel Paris, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary. The theme running through the March issue is “African Queen” and also pays tribute to Nigerian musician and human rights activist Fela Kuti. Instead of just choosing a dark-skinned African model to represent the “African Queen”,  Beyonce was chosen, and the editorial team also thought it would be “artistic” to darken her face.
