Actor and star of hit feature films Kidulthood and Adulthood Femi Oyeniran has announced that his first script will be made in to a film. The urban comedy ‘It’s A Lot’ written by Oyeniran and Nick Walker ‘marries 1980’s classics Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with Risky Business’ and will be Mirror Image Ltd Film Production’s first feature production. The shoot is scheduled to start in late September. Congratulations!

The Voice Online reports that the youth music event the Underage Festival has been cancelled due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. The festival geared towards 13-18 year olds was due to take place on Friday August 31st in Shoreditch Park. Female shot putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk has been stripped of her gold medal after failing a drugs test. The 31-year-old athlete from Belarus tested positive for anabolic agent metenolone. The gold medal will now go to New Zealand’s Valerie Adams, silver will go to Russia’s Evgeniia Kolodko and Lijiao Gong of China will get the bronze medal.
