Photograph via Mercury Today David Michael, the first black policeman to serve in the London Borough of Lewisham, will appear in a Cancer Research UK commercial later on this month. Michael was diagnosed with having prostate cancer in December last year, but later went on to have keyhole surgery to remove the tumour and has now made a full recovery. Viewers can watch interviews, live sessions and behind the scenes footage with bands via their handsets or on YouTube. RAPPER Lil Kim and singer Cyndi Lauper both sang Cyndi’s classic 80s hit Time After Time, at Nelson Mandela’s 91st birthday bash concert in New York City this past weekend. I had to stop watching soon after Kim joined in. Was dueting with Lil Kim Cyndi’s idea??? I mean… WHY??????????????????? Poor Nelson. He flew all the way from South Africa and had to sit through that mess. It’s a disgrace! [Thanks Mishal]
