Up and coming film Southside is described as being “a fantasy “Urban” thriller”. So from the looks of the trailer we have another UK “URBAN” film which depicts gangs, guns, bloodshed, chaos, and of course features a predominately black cast. It’s time we moved away from making these types of films? It’s time we told a different story! Anyway I’ve heard that this film might be submitted and featured at the Cannes Film Festival. That should be interesting.
