Singer Whitney Houston’s funeral took place today in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Among the mourners were Oprah Winfrey, R.Kelly, Mary J Blige, Kevin Costner and Mariah Carey. I watched the entire service on CNN. It was uplifting but also heartbreaking. I still cannot believe that Whitney has left us so tragically at the age of 48. The star will be buried tomorrow. Gary Dobson and David Norris who were FINALLY found guilty of the 1993 racist murder of Stephen Lawrence in south-east London were jailed for life today. Dobson will serve a minimum of 15 years and two months, and Norris 14 years and three months.
