The judging line up for The X-Factor has finally been confirmed, and judge Louis Walsh will now be joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos. Thankfully there is no room for the nation’s biggest fraud/convicted batterer of a night club toilet attendant Cheryl Cole, who was dropped like a brick from the US version of X-Factor last week. Up and coming film Southside is described as being “a fantasy “Urban” thriller”. So from the looks of the trailer we have another UK “URBAN” film which depicts gangs, guns, bloodshed, chaos, and of course features a predominately black cast. It’s time we moved away from making these types of films? It’s time we told a different story! Anyway I’ve heard that this film might be submitted and featured at the Cannes Film Festival. That should be interesting.
