UK NEWS: WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH

A woman has died after being stabbed in a late night incident. Dee Willis, 28, received a wound to her upper body during the attack at around 11pm on Tuesday in Bellenden Road, close to Peckham High Street in south east London. Ms Willis was taken to Kings College Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after midnight. Neighbours said that Ms Willis recently miscarried twins. Murdered: 16 year old Ben Kinsella  Two youths arrested over the murder of Ben Kinsella, who was stabbed to death in a London street, have been released on police bail. Ben, 16, was attacked during a row with youths in York Way, Holloway, north London, at about 0200 BST on Sunday. Singer Amy Winehouse has “traces” of the lung disease emphysema but is “responding brilliantly to treatment”, her father has said. Mitch Winehouse told BBC Radio 1 his daughter would recover “completely” as long as she stopped smoking. Amy Winehouse still hopes to perform at the forthcoming Glastonbury Festival and Nelson Mandela concert, despite her ongoing treatment in hospital. The 24-year-old Rehab singer is undergoing tests after fainting at home on Monday afternoon. A man charged with murdering a shopper during an alleged row over queue-jumping in a south London supermarket has appeared in court. Kevin Tripp, 57, was allegedly punched by Tony Virasami in Sainsbury’s in Merton High Street on Tuesday. Mr Tripp, from Colliers Wood, south London, suffered serious head injuries and died in hospital on Wednesday.
