Choice FM will welcome Destiny Child’s star and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Michelle Williams as the new co-host of its Breakfast Show throughout December. It’s been reported that the “nations sweetheart” Cheryl Cole has landed a place on the judging panel of the up and coming U.S version of The X-Factor. But sadly Cheryl’s dream of conquering America may never happen because of her conviction for battering Nigerian night club toilet attendant Sophie Amogbokpa back in 2003 (who she also “allegedly” racially abused). It’s good news for Gamu Nhengu and her family members.. well at least for now! Via BBC News Former X Factor singer Gamu Nhengu and her family have won the latest round of their legal fight to remain in the UK. The Home Office had turned down a visa renewal application by the teenage singer’s mother, but reversed that decision at a hearing in Glasgow. The bigwigs over at BBC 1xtra have decided to clean house in 2011 (fired DJs) and have implemented some changes (reshuffled DJs time slots). Fellow blogger Miss Lala reports that Twin B will take over the breakfast show slot, a slot which was previously held by DJ Trevor Nelson. Trevor will move to the 10am-1pm slot and Gemma Cairney will take over on weekday afternoons. Nick Bright (7am-10am) with the weekend breakfast show. Prince William and Kate Middleton have announced the date and venue for their wedding in 2011. The couple will be married on Friday, April 29, at Westminster Abbey, and the Cabinet agreed this morning that the day will be a public holiday. ………………………………………………… Thats good news about the public holiday but it still hurts to think that a long with other tax-payers in this fair land of ours, I’m helping to pay for a wedding that I’m not even invited to. All I can do is laugh.

Former X-Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu has recorded a Christmas single in aid of a Scottish charity. Gamu who failed to make it to the live stages of the farcical TV show, will release the single Where Will You Sleep This Christmas. The track will be released on 13 December. Gamu along with the rest of her family left Zimbabwe several years ago, and are currently battling to stay in the UK after they were granted the right to appeal against a decision forcing them to leave the country.
