After surpassing half a million views online, black British sitcom Meet The Adebanjos will now air on Sky this Christmas. New episodes of the series have been picked up by VOX Africa TV (Sky 218) and will air on Fridays at 8.30pm. The Evening Standard reports that HRH Queen Elizabeth II is having difficulty finding a senior gardener to tend to her lawns. In October the post of “senior gardener” was advertised on the royal household website. The £15,750 job failed to attract a successful applicant so has been re-advertised, with a higher salary of £17,000 – an increase of 7.9 per cent. Girl group Little Mix were crowned this years X-Factor winners in tonight’s 2 hour show final. Runner up Marcus Collins was gracious in defeat and said ‘I’m really proud of myself, these girls really deserve it, they’re amazing.’ Congratulations Little Mix. Now the hard work begins. Good luck!

Several weeks ago YouTube footage of Emma West (34) racially abusing fellow passengers on a tram went viral and has now been watched by 11 million people. West was then later arrested . The Guardian now reports that West has been remanded in custody during a court appearance and has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence. [Thanks Noir] In partnership with Colourful Radio. Bino and Fino are finally going to make it to UK TV screens. It will be for a limited time only though so make sure you catch it. The cartoon will be shown on Showcase TV which is channel 201 on Sky TV. It will also be available on channel 403 of Freesat. It will be the first time kids in the UK will get to watch an African educational cartoon from Nigeria on their screens.

Rapper Tinchy Stryder is looking for two new bloggers and also wants applicants to send him copies of their CVs (Curriculum Vitaes). Why? Only God knows. Anyway no word yet on whether the successful applicants will be paid for their services.
