X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke apparently cannot wait to release her debut album. The highly exciteable singer told The Sun, “If I could turn round and say to the label, ‘OK, done, let’s release it tomorrow’, I would. I’m so excited to bring it out – my blood’s boiling. It’s not going to be what you expect it to be. I am a little late posting this news because its only just been brought to my attention. My mum passed on this story to me yesterday, after coming across it in The Jamaica Gleaner. Jamaican born pastor Dr. Paul Lewis is apparently a huge star within the world of  evangelism. Film director and founder of Rice n Peas Films Ishmahil Blagrove. London based film-maker and founder of Rice n Peas Films Ishmahil Blagrove has been locked up in an Israeli prison with more than twenty campaigners,  after their boat carrying aid to Gaza was seized on Tuesday.  The activists, who include Nobel Peace Laureate Mairead Maguire and former US senator Cynthia McKinney, were held at gunpoint and taken to Ramla High Security Prison after their mission was intercepted by the Israeli military. UK NEWS: TWO CHILDREN DIE IN TOWER BLOCK FIRE

Via BBC News Two children have died and 30 people were rescued after a fire swept through a tower block in south-east London. The pair, a three-week-old baby and a seven-year-old, were caught up in the blaze at 12-storey Lakanal House on the Sceaux Gardens Estate in Camberwell.
