DAMON DASH IN TROUBLE WITH THE AUTHORITIES, DD172 CLUB/ART SPACE CLOSES DOWN

Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder and Jay-Z’s former and rather loud right-hand man Damon Dash is in trouble with the law. The Village Voice reports that the once feared Hip Hop mogul has been accused of six counts of storing and selling alcoholic beverages without a license, as detailed in court documents obtained by the Voice. UK R&B artist Dele is back with his new single Feel It, taken from the forthcoming mixtape Portraits Of Me. …. Feel It sounds like something Usher would release. I like Dele, he can sing but like Usher he should stick to making R&B records. Stay away from going down the annoying Dance music route that most of these R&B/Hip Hop acts seem to be going down these days. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

The Daily Mail reports that rapper/former I’m A Celebrity contestant Aggro Santos (real name Yuri Santos) was today charged with raping two women. The 22-year-old Brazilian-born rapper is accused of raping one woman in Chichester, West Sussex, on May 7 and another in Yeovil, Somerset, between September 25 and 26 last year. Another man, 21-year-old Tyrelle Ritchie, has been charged with one count of rape in Chichester on the same date, Sussex Police said. The charges in Chichester are understood to relate []

UK TV NEWS: NEW BRITISH-NIGERIAN CHARACTER SET TO JOIN EASTENDERS

Actress Modupe Adeyeye will make her debut on BBC soap Eastenders this coming Tuesday playing Faith Olubunmi, the younger sister of Merci Olubunmi (played by Bunmi Mojekwu) who was written out of the show earlier this year. The newcomer will also appear in EastEnders online spin-off E20. Congratulations Modupe – good luck. And let’s just hope there isn’t another random deportation storyline in the works.
