UK TV NEWS: NEW BRITISH-NIGERIAN CHARACTER SET TO JOIN EASTENDERS

Actress Modupe Adeyeye will make her debut on BBC soap Eastenders this coming Tuesday playing Faith Olubunmi, the younger sister of Merci Olubunmi (played by Bunmi Mojekwu) who was written out of the show earlier this year.

The newcomer will also appear in EastEnders online spin-off E20.

Congratulations Modupe – good luck.

And let’s just hope there isn’t another random deportation storyline in the works.

  1. haha. aww nice to see more black faces in a London based soap. cant wait to see what her character is like and please I hope her weave or her own hair is on point.

  2. As per usual The Continuity people at Eastenders have screwed up.

If her older sister has been deported what happen to her? Especially, as her bio states she was sent to NIgeria to ” sort her out”. How did she get back in? Who has she been living with?

That said I’m intrigued to see what they do with the character.

  3. I can’t bear to watch Eastenders anymore, it’s beyond a joke they need to put it back to 2 days a week because then they might have fresher material. I might have to catch a few eposides with this girl in though she pretty lol
