The founder/CEO of seminal Hip Hop label Sugar Hill Records has died of congestive heart failure. Sylvia Robinson founded the label in the 1970s and formed the group The Sugarhill Gang who later went on to release the first commercially successful Hip Hop single Rappers Delight in 1979. She also was the visionary and guiding force behind Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five’s most successful single The Message. Sylvia was 75 years old. ______ ______ Rest In Peace Sylvia Robinson.

Via The Daily Mail A Premier League footballer was suspended from his club today after he was arrested over an alleged sex attack on a woman in the back of a taxi. Titus Bramble, 30, was held by officers in the early hours after the cab driver became concerned by the player’s behaviour towards his fellow passenger.
