It’s put everything in perspective. I have a different respect now for people who don’t have legs.
[Thanks Blockett]
Singer Jessie J tells Q Magazine that after breaking her ankle during a performance and having to hobble around wearing a cast, that she now understands the struggles people face who have no legs.
She then goes on to question her role with her fans.
People think you go to a special hospital, get special casts and treatment. It’s a lie – I’m the same as anyone else. And that was a moment when I had a proper good cry. Just after I broke my foot, I was in my living room and I put on Beyoncé’s ‘Save The Hero’, like, ‘If I’m not around, who saves the hero?'” And it made me realise, like, I need someone now. You give so much as an artist, you give, you give, you give.
* rubbing temples and shaking my head* – For goodness sake! Listen to yourself woman.

I never had to hear about or see a broken ankle as much as hers, it never ends! It feels like it’s been broken for about 5 years!!
what is she even talking about, how does temporarily injure your foot give you a sudden epiphany of how it is to LIVE without any legs. has her two or so years of fame turned her into a narcissist already?
Good for you kiddo. Good. For. You.
.
She can still sing can’t she?
‘you give so much as an artist, you give you give you give…..’ like you don’t take anything back. Unless ofcourse your music is free.
As for the rest, when you know you are going to recover and walk again, it can’t possibly be the same as knowing there’s no chance of it happening at all.
Please Jessie J….. like someone said you will heal…it’s totally different. She must need attention….
I can’t stand her….i’m waiting for her 15 minutes to be up!
