WILL SMITH AND JADEN SMITH WIN ‘WORST ACTOR’ AND ‘SUPPORTING ACTOR’ AT RAZZIE AWARDS 2014

Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith have both won Razzie Awards for their efforts in the sci-fi film After Earth. The father and son won three awards,  Jaden Smith for worst actor, Will Smith for worst supporting actor and worst screen combo. After Earth cost $130m (£78m) to make and was co-written by Will Smith and directed by M Night Shyamalan. The film only grossed $60m at the US and Canadian box office. Comedian and actor Lenny Henry has written a one-off BBC drama based on his teenage years and his rise to fame. The drama titled Danny And The Human Zoo tells the story of a teenage impressionist growing up in a Jamaican family in 1970s Dudley (Birmingham). Lenny who grew up in Dudley launched his career starring in the controversial Black And White Minstrel Show and later appeared on the hit talent show New Faces. Pop singer Lily Allen announced she was “retiring” from the music industry three years ago but decided to return to the scene late last year with the single Hard Out Here, along with a controversial video featuring those misguided former Britain’s Got Talent contestants the CEO Dancers.
