REGGAE DANCEHALL STAR VYBZ KARTEL FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER

Dancehall star Vybz Kartel (real name Adidja Palmer) has been found guilty of murder. Via The Jamaica Gleaner Palmer and three of his four co-accused have been found guilty of the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams marking the end to a keenly watched trial that has lasted for 65 days.  The eleven-member jury began deliberating at 3:45 p.m.  Initially, the eleven-member jury deliberated for 1 hour and 53 minutes before returning a 10-1 verdict.  They were sent back to reconsider because the verdict []

UK POLITICS: LABOUR BLACK NETWORK TO BE LAUNCHED IN LONDON

Via The Afro News The Labour Black Network will be launched in London on 25th March 2014. The event to be held at the Wilson Room, Portcullis House, from 18:00 to 20:00, will be hosted by Diane Abbott, Member of Parliament for Hackney North and Stoke Newington.
