Bad Man Bolt

It looks like ‘Team Cheryl’ and the British press are up to their old tricks again.

The shabby Daily Star reports that Usain Bolt wants to date “singer” and the convicted batterer of Sophie Amogbokpa, Cheryl Cole.

According to the newspaper before Bolt won the 100m final last night he hoped that Cheryl would come and cheer him on and later went on to say:

“London has some really beautiful women, I can’t help but notice them. Cheryl Cole is always in the media and I can see why. She is so beautiful.

“If Cheryl wants to come and watch me in the final I might even take her out for dinner afterwards. Then after dinner we can go and party with Prince Harry. And if I win gold I will even pick up the bar tab!”

So the British media and Cheryl’s publicist have run out of African-American male stars from the world of Hip Hop/R&B to link her name to and have now turned their attentions to ‘the land of wood and water’ and it’s native son Usain Bolt.

First they published news that she supposedly received praise for her “beauty” from rapper T.I, then came Usher, then came Jay-Z, then came Ne-Yo, then came Akon and then came Trey Songz (who didn’t even know who the woman was).

I doubt Usain has even heard of the fraud much less seen a photograph of her mug. I don’t believe he said any of the above but the journalist desperately wanted to give Cheryl some much needed press coverage (interest in her has faded) so why not make up a story linking her to the fastest man on earth.

The journalist responsible for this piece of fiction deserves fifty lashes.
