UK MUSIC: CHERRI VONCELLE – ‘I MISS YOU’ (NAS DAUGHTERS REFIXX)

… This is why I grow to despise the UK music industry more and more as each day passes. Artists like Cherri Voncelle and Vula Malinga  to name but a few are talented, they can SING their backsides off and make good music, but industry executives in this country still continue to sign and push female singers to the forefront whose vocals/talent pale in comparison (An unfair decision usually based on race and on who they consider “marketable”). UK NEWS: BRIXTON RESIDENTS VOICE CONCERNS OVER VIOLENT ARREST

Last night concerned residents stood outside Brixton Police Station and voiced concerns over the arrest of a mentally ill man in his fifties. The Brixton Blog reports that residents claim the police used “unacceptable” force while arresting a man in Windrush Square. Eyewitnesses said the man was put in a choke hold by officers. “Three officers were holding this man.
