This tune was my tune inna mi “courting” days. I haven’t heard ANYTHING from Omar for ages. Well they give out OBEs for less. He’s probably helping others start their careers. This clip has me feeling nostalgic away…..
@Sparkle- that may simply be a case of you not knowing much of his music…he has released 6 albums to date. His last being ‘Sing When You Want It’. He has also had notable respect in the US from the likes of Jill Scott and has worked with dance music producers over the year making club hits such as ‘It’s So’. On the contrary, music people like myself (DJ/Retailer of music) know full well that he is no one-hit wonder and his contributed outstandingly to soul music over the years…Just saying.
I like this brothers music…. good for him!
