The parents of six children who died tragically in a house fire earlier this month have been charged with murder. Via BBC News Mick Philpott, 55, and his wife Mairead, 31, confirmed their names at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court. Jade Philpott, 10, and brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jessie, six and Jayden, five, died in the house fire on Victory Road on 11 May. Duwayne, 13, died three days later. The couple will appear in custody at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday. […]

Last week it was announced that BBC Radio’s resident Hip Hop DJ Tim Westwood (54) will no longer be hosting his weekday BBC 1xtra show after September and is to be replaced by DJ Charlie Sloth. The new fresh and acceptable face of  all things “URBAN” over at BBC Radio towers . Tim however is still a BBC employee and will still host his show on Saturday nights and a new show on Sundays.
