UK NEWS: PARENTS OF SIX CHILDREN KILLED IN HOUSE FIRE CHARGED WITH MURDER

The parents of six children who died tragically in a house fire earlier this month have been charged with murder. Via BBC News Mick Philpott, 55, and his wife Mairead, 31, confirmed their names at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court. Jade Philpott, 10, and brothers John, nine, Jack, eight, Jessie, six and Jayden, five, died in the house fire on Victory Road on 11 May. Duwayne, 13, died three days later. The couple will appear in custody at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday. []

UK MUSIC NEWS: TIM WESTWOOD CLAIMS BBC 1XTRA ‘TREATED ME UNFAIRLY’

Last week it was announced that BBC Radio’s resident Hip Hop DJ Tim Westwood (54) will no longer be hosting his weekday BBC 1xtra show after September and is to be replaced by DJ Charlie Sloth. The new fresh and acceptable face of  all things “URBAN” over at BBC Radio towers . Tim however is still a BBC employee and will still host his show on Saturday nights and a new show on Sundays. TOP SHOP BILLIONAIRE’S DAUGHTER HANGS OUT WITH JERMAIN DEFOE AND THE “MAN DEM”

Chloe Green who is the daughter of Top Shop billionaire Sir Philip Green hung out with that strange old bird footballer Jermain Defoe and the “man dem” on Monday and both ended up looking like complete fools on a busy street. According to the Daily Mail Chloe who is a “budding designer” hugged and flirted with Jermain and at one point energetically grabbed a lamp post and pretended to pole dance for him as bemused members of the public walked by. It looks like Jermain has agreed to get roped in to another PR stunt []
