Well it’s almost here folks!!!  The highly anticipated BBC Radio Hackney Weekend music festival will take over Hackney Marshes this weekend. If you were to tell me years ago that BBC Radio would host a major music event in delightful Hackney and on the marshes I would have laughed my head of and sent you on your way. (It was also announced today by over excited showbiz reporter Dan Wootton that Cheryl Cole will appear as a “special guest”.  I don’t even have the energy to comment on this farcical piece of news.).
