JUMP OFF TV (UK DEBATE) – DO THE POLICE MAKE THE BLACK MUSIC SCENE A SCAPEGOAT FOR VIOLENCE?

After a man in his thirties was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle at a London party hosted by BlackBerry maker RIM, the regular debaters got together alongside guests to discuss what can be done to prevent violence.

Following this incident the Official Mixtape Award ceremony due to take place on Thursday 5th April was cancelled by the police with just hours to go.

Claira Hermet and Snakey Man who were due to be hosting the prestigious event joined the debaters to discuss what happened.

Here are some of the questions and ideas raised and discussed during the debate:

-Was the cancellation of the OMA’s a result of the RIM stabbing?
-What can be done to prevent violence?
-What can we do as a community to prevent violence?
-Is the black music scene being used as a scapegoat for violence?
-Why isn’t violence that takes place that is linked to other genres reported?
-Why did the police cancel the OMA’s?

Your thoughts please….

  1. I hope you Jump Off debaters clocked at what happened here with the shutdown of the OMA event, this was a straight up Minority Report, pre crime type move that got pulled on the OMAs. What, did you think that they showed you that film years ago for nothing? One guy mentioned something about about giving the police an excuse on a plate, in case you haven’t noticed, the police are corrupt to the core and have been from the beginning, if they cannot find an excuse to shut down an event, they simply concoct stuff up out of vapour.

The Babylon Enforcers strike again and you better get prepared as more of this shutdown rubbish is in the pipeline. As I stated before, the police do not want you having your fun Negroes, the gravy days for you in the UK are now finished and this was a warning shot. This won’t just stop at events, expect raves, birthday parties, barbeques, and any normal gatherings involving blacks to be forcefully shutdown and dispersed by the jack boot military enforcement thugs.

  2. Its doing things like this that make people hate the police which causes them future problems

  3. I watched the first 5 minutes or so and I don’t get why this subject keeps coming up. The reason ‘urban’ events get locked off becasue they are ‘black’ events. Changing a name was not going to change the underlying theme of the culture which is a black art form… It’s racism, pure and simple…..NEXT!

    Exactly that
